    Krista Deveaux serves as the Director of Finance and Human Resources at Clearfork Academy. She is an accomplished financial professional with over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, and strategy. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA and specializes in strategic finance and accounting. Krista is known for her expertise in providing business and analytical support to key cross-functional stakeholders beyond expectations. She is a strong business partner adept in improving business processes, strategically planning their implementation, and keeping teams motivated and focused on successful outcomes. She is also highly skilled in banking partnership and relationship building, contract review and negotiations, and organizational leadership. Throughout her career, Krista has held numerous leadership positions. In her last role, she was the Head of Finance at an organization where she led a finance and HR team of 12 professionals in controllership, decision support, financial reporting, and operating strategy for a ~$144M business. She successfully implemented cost reduction initiatives resulting in over $2M in cost savings and developed and executed a successful strategy and financial plan to close a $24M asset-based loan in one year. Krista is a woman of faith and hails from the Bahamas. In her free time, she is an avid reader and loves to travel with her husband and do missionary work. She has traveled to Beijing, China, Egypt, Israel, Ukraine, Rome and Amalfi Coast, Cape Town South Africa, Dubai, Tahiti, and many other places.

    VP of Outreach & Marketing

    Jeffrey Pattison is the VP of outreach and marketing for Clearfork Acadamy. Before this role, Jeff held leadership positions in various hospitals, and residential and long-term care facilities, including Director of Operations, Vice President of Marketing and Outreach, Regional Director of Clinical Outreach, and Director of Business Development. He has 20 years of experience working in mental health and chemical dependency and says that while this calling can be challenging, it is rewarding beyond measure. Living near where he grew up east of Dallas, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, being outdoors, and playing music at church and family functions.

  • Austin Davis LPC-S

    Founder & CEO

    Originally from the Saginaw, Eagle Mountain area, Austin Davis earned a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Ministry from Lee University in Cleveland, TN, and a Master of Arts in Counseling from The Church of God Theological Seminary. He then went on to become a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor in the State of Texas. Austin’s professional history includes both local church ministry and clinical counseling. At a young age, he began serving youth at the local church in various capacities which led to clinical training and education. Austin gained a vast knowledge of mental health disorders while working in state and public mental health hospitals. This is where he was exposed to almost every type of diagnosis and carries this experience into the daily treatment. Austin’s longtime passion is Clearfork Academy, a Christ-centered residential facility focused on mental health and substance abuse. He finds joy and fulfillment in working with “difficult” clients that challenge his heart and clinical skill set. It is his hope and desire that each resident who passes through Clearfork Academy will be one step closer to their created design. Austin’s greatest pleasures in life are being a husband to his wife and a father to his growing children. He serves at his local church by playing guitar, speaking, and helping with tech arts. Austin also enjoys being physically active, reading, woodworking, and music.

  • Mike Carter

    Alumni Manager

    Mike grew up on a dairy farm in Parker County, Texas. At the age of 59, he went back to college and graduated 41 years after his first graduation from Weatherford College. God placed on his heart at that time the passion to begin to help others as they walked from addictions, alcoholism, and abuse of substances. He is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and in the past few years he has worn many hats, from intake and assessment, group counseling, individual and family counseling, intensive outpatient and now he is working with clients, therapist, and families on discharge planning and aftercare. He also coordinates our Alumni Outreach Program.

  • Jackie Ringgold

    Outreach Territory Manager

    Jackie was born and raised in Texas and has been settled here in DFW since graduating college in 2010. She went to Stephen F. Austin State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine Kinesiology and minored in Psychology. She has been in the healthcare field since high school and continued that after college. Jackie maintained a career as a physician recruiter for 12 years before making a transition into mental health. Being that she has always been an advocate for mental health, helping those to seek a new legacy and recovery spoke right to her heart. When she’s not working or volunteering, Jackie enjoys spending time with her dog (a retired racing greyhound), hiking, playing sand volleyball or kickball, and listening to live music.

As a Community Liaison at Clearfork Academy, Shannon is passionate about building genuine, lasting relationships. She is committed to ensuring families find the resources and support systems they need, helping them navigate challenges and secure the best outcomes for their loved ones.
